No immediate plans to float Virgin Mobile

Further to the piece in today's (2nd March 2000) Times newspaper, Virgin Mobile would like to issue the following statement:
We have no immediate plans to float Virgin Mobile, but a flotation remains a future possibility. We keep an open mind regarding the development of Virgin Mobile.
Were we ever to consider flotation Virgin Mobile would seek to ensure its customers receive preferential treatment.
Since its launch in November 1999, the business has been a great success and exceeded all of the targets we have set for it. We look forward to growing the business in the long-term.
