Take off with Virgin Atlantic and get a free mobile phone

13/10/2000

Travellers booking a return flight on Virgin Atlantic through travel company Trailfinders can claim a free Virgin Mobile phone. What better way to tell friends and family all about the trip?

Globetrotters booking adult fares on a flight will be able to pick up a free Alcatel Max DB or Philips Savvy DB mobile phone (worth £49.99) on returning to the UK through the new promotion. This includes a service pack (worth £10) and £5 of free calls.

To take advantage of this offer, customers should call Trailfinders on 020 7628 7628 to book their Virgin Atlantic flight, or visit their travel centres.

As usual with Virgin Mobile, customers only pay for the calls they make. There is no monthly line rental or service charge; and calls cost 15 pence for each of the first five minutes of the day and 5p each minute after that. Furthermore, every phone in the Virgin Mobile range gives the user privileged access to Virgin Xtras - offering discounts of up to 50% on electrical goods and money of music, videos and many other items.
