Have you got what it takes to be a model 'Boxstar'?
Virgin Mobile is launching its very own version of the famous search-for-a-star series Popstars - with Virgin Mobile's Boxstars. The national Virgin Mobile Boxstars competition aims to find the future faces of Virgin Mobile, the stunning models who appear throughout the company's catalogue and on its mobile phone boxes.
The hunt for the new Virgin visage is taking place at a number of events this summer, including V2001 at both Weston Park, Staffs, and Hylands Park, Chelmsford on 18th and 19th August. Wannabe models are also being sought at the Virgin Mobile British Superbike race meets and at Virgin Mobile roadshows around the country.Would-be Boxstars at V2001 can pose for the cameras and style-judges at the Virgin Mobile Trailer Park. The ten winning faces from the competition will win a VIP trip for two to London, where they'll receive a make-over and professional photoshoot, and they'll be paid a fee for their modelling assignment. Their faces will then be used to promote the latest Siemens Virgin Mobile phones later in the year.
V2001 festival-goers striking a pose in the Virgin Mobile Trailer Park can be seen at www.vfestival.com after the event. The eventual winners will also be shown on the website.
A round of Boxstars is also taking place at the Virgin Mobile headquarters in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, where four winning members of staff will be chosen to front boxes and literature - who better to represent Virgin Mobile than members of the company?
The winners of Boxstars will be in good company. The two handsome, Virgin Mobile-sponsored Team Virgin Mobile Aiwa Superbike riders, James Haydon and Jamie Robinson currently appear as faces in the August catalogue. Jamie is also on the front of the Sendo S200 box, and James Haydon appears on the Virgin Mobile press pack folder.
