Sony Exclusive for Virgin Mobile

Virgin Mobile, the UK's fifth network, has launched the stunning Sony J7 onto its network, adding to the enviable range available for the Christmas season. The colour and model of the phone is exclusive to Virgin Mobile.

The second Sony phone to be included in the Virgin Mobile collection, the J7 houses a wide range of features and has an attractive, compact design. This makes the J7 a must-have for the fashion-conscious young professional leading a busy lifestyle - a perfect Christmas gift.

The J7 is slimline has an internal aerial and weighs only 92g. A great communications tool, customers can use the WAP and email facility and try out the in-built handsfree speakerphone while on the move.

The Sony J7 also serves to entertain, with fun features such as SMS with sound and pictures (EMS)*, and a six-line screen to give optimum text display. Customers can also exercise their creativity by recording their own ringtones using music, sounds or messages. Sound quality is enhanced as the handset uses polyphonic sound.

Virgin Mobile is currently running a Christmas promotion, where customers who purchase £20 of airtime receive £20 discount on any handset over £99.99. These customers will also receive a free Virgin Mobile rucksack and those purchasing handsets with a downloadable ringtone facility will receive a free ringtone voucher. The promotion is running at Virgin Mobile direct, V.SHOP and Virgin Megastores and runs until 20 January 2002.

Customers shopping at www.virgin.com/mobile can take advantage of a similar promotion as any handset purchase of over £99.99 will give the customer £20 free airtime, a free rucksack and ringtone voucher (for compatible handsets).

Virgin Mobile has a simple tariff with calls charged at 15p/min for the first 5 minutes of use each day, then 5p/min after that. Virgin Mobile also offers 'Big Bonus' to any registered customer spending £30 or more on calls in a month. Those customers will receive 10% of their monthly spend as an airtime credit the following month.
