Virgin Mobile to be sold in Woolworths

- Virgin Mobile continues its UK retail expansion
- Virgin Mobile phones and services now available in over 6,000 UK stores
Virgin Mobile today announced that it will launch into 809 Woolworths stores from today, continuing its ongoing expansion into UK high street retailers. This takes the total number of stores in which Virgin Mobile is available to well over 6000.
The phones on offer in store are as follows and all include a service pack which provides connection to Virgin Mobile and £5 of airtime:
- Sendo S200 £69.99
- Nokia 3310 £99.99
- Sony J7 £119.99
Graeme Hutchinson, sales director of Virgin Mobile, said: “Woolworths is one of Britain’s leading general merchandise retailers. This partnership is the latest step in our ongoing expansion plans, and the addition of Woolworths 809 stores to our retail portfolio means that Virgin Mobile now has a presence in almost every high street in the UK.
