Formula one fans can snap up a boxed set containing a Nokia 3310 with a Jordan F1 branded cover showing the team’s famous logo and images of the car in action, along with an original Nokia 3310 cover for £109.99. As with all Virgin Mobile customers, owners of the Jordan kit are given access one of the most comprehensive F1 results and news services available on any network anywhere in the world, through its VirginXtras service – and it’s free!
Virgin Mobile customers can ensure their F1 knowledge triumphs over their competitors’ by registering for free SMS alerts covering F1 news, practice times, qualifying times, race results and Drivers and Constructors’ Championship positions. Customers simply need to log on to Virgin Mobile’s web site at www.virgin.com/mobile and register for the VirginXtras F1 services.
For even more in-depth coverage, additional F1 commentary is available through Virgin Mobile’s WAP site, and through its pioneering audio-on-demand `4321’ service. Customers can get up-to-the-minute news and interviews through the revolutionary voice-activated portal through dialling 4321 on their Virgin Mobile and saying ‘Formula 1’.
Those purchasing the special edition set are also given the opportunity to enter a fantastic F1 competition, with the prize being a day’s testing at Silverstone as a VIP guest of Jordan for four people in September.
