Virgin Mobile wages war on Turkeys this Christmas!

If you found yourself on the receiving end of a turkey of a mobile phone this Christmas, then do not fear because help is at hand! If you don’t like the phone you were given, or if you would like to shop around for the best possible deal from a network, then now is the perfect time to take a look at Virgin Mobile!

Throughout January, Virgin Mobile is continuing its ‘A list phones at C list prices’ promotion, offering £20 off all colour phones and £10 off all other phones, meaning that you can get a brand new colour phone for as little as £49.99! So if you want to ditch the big ugly brick that you were given for Christmas by a well-meaning relative, now’s the time to do it!

If you found yourself being signed up to a network with catches, small print, and lots of extra charges, perhaps it might be time to have a look at Virgin Mobile. To try Virgin Mobile’s great service, you simply need to buy a £10 Joining Pack, which contains £5 of free airtime to get you started. Once you have joined, you can pay any way you want – pre-pay or pay monthly. However you choose to pay, there is no line rental to pay, no peak rates or catches, and if you don’t use the phone you don’t pay. Calls are cheap, with standard calls at just 15p a minute for the first five minutes of use each day, and 5p per minute after that. Voicemail retrieval is free, and texts to other Virgin Mobiles are just 3p each!

To switch from your existing network onto Virgin Mobile, you simply need to buy the joining pack, and then you can bring your own phone and even your own number with you to Virgin Mobile! To bring your own phone, all you have to do is to make sure that it is compatible with Virgin Mobile by performing a simple test at www.virginmobile.com.

To port your number from your network to Virgin Mobile you just need to ask your current service provider for your Port Authorisation Code (PAC), which is a code that lets you transfer from one network to another. Then contact Virgin Mobile on 0845 6000 789 and will arrange the porting of your number onto the network within five working days. So there’s now no excuse for letting those turkeys stay any longer than Twelfth night!
