01.12.04: Virgin Mobile today launches the Hassle-Free Mobile Phone Package. The Hassle-Free Package offers consumers a great phone combined with eight months’ worth of inclusive minutes and texts in one handy package, making it the simplest way to join Virgin Mobile and pre-pay for calls. Just buy the box and your phone comes with airtime included, giving you a set amount each month of hassle-free calls and text messages for eight consecutive months.

A traditional Christmas gift of ‘just’ a phone will no longer cut the mustard, now that you can give a loved-one a stylish colour camera phone with eight months’ worth of calls and texts ready to go!

Just like Virgin Mobile’s Bundles, Hassle-Free Package customers benefit from great value inclusive airtime with cheap calls and texts to any UK network, without the commitment of a contract product. Hassle-Free Package customers also benefit from longer lasting minutes and texts - unused minutes and messages can be carried over to the next month within the package period.

Tom Alexander, Chief Executive of Virgin Mobile, said: “Virgin Mobile is the first pre-pay mobile phone company to launch a one-box deal that offers longer-lasting value and a hassle-free mobile phone experience.

“The launch of Virgin Mobile’s Hassle-Free Package takes away the worry of monthly payments for your airtime minutes by automatically adding airtime allowance to your phone each month. There are no hidden charges – what you see is what you get - you pay upfront and that’s it. It’s ideal for people who are buying the phone as the perfect Christmas gift, or really want to control their spending”.

There are three ‘Hassle-Free Packages’ available from under £100; each includes a colour camera phone, SIM pack and inclusive airtime. Customers simply need to pick a package that suits their style and budget and enjoy eight months’ worth of pre-paid, great value calls and texts.

The Hassle-free Package doesn’t just mean simplicity and convenience it also gives you the best possible deal; buying the one box and inclusive calls and texts saves money against buying them separately.
