Virgin Mobile introduces the Lobster 544 for music lovers

18.07.06: Virgin Mobile today unveiled the next handset in its exclusive brand of mobile phones, called the Lobster 544. The phone offers a MP3 player and full range of features and technology at a great price.

The Lobster 544 is a small clamshell handset that’s perfect for music lovers with a direct access MP3 music key and USB cable to download tunes, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo headset and 64MB memory card. This desirable phone is only £69.99 on Pay As You Go and free on contract. This palm-sized phone in silver will be widely available from Virgin Mobile Stores and other high street retailers in the UK from mid July. Customers wanting to be one of the first to get their hands on this great phone will be able to order by calling 0845 6000 600.

A number of further stylish Lobster-branded phones will be launched throughout 2006. All Lobster phones feature a Virgin-branded red shortcut key, giving fast access to Virgin Mobile’s entertainment content service, BITES. Updated daily, it covers music, celebrity news and gossip, humour, and sport exclusively for Virgin Mobile’s customers.
