Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Lily Cole, Eva Herzigova, the girl standing next to you watching Radiohead? Storm Models are looking for the faces of the future and have teamed up with Virgin Mobile to find the ‘Face of V’.
After incredible success scouting at last year’s V Festival, Storm Models have once again declared Virgin Mobile’s V Festival “The nation’s most beautiful festival” and are hitting the fields again this August to search for future supermodels. Due to the number of gorgeous people at the V Festival, Storm are this year doubling the number of scouts to make sure that they have enough model scouts to ensure that no beauty goes by unspotted.
Virgin Mobile and Storm Models will be looking for a guy and girl to each be crowned the ‘Face of V’ at this year’s V Festival. The male and female winners of the ‘Face of V’ competition will each receive test shots for their modelling portfolios. The Storm Model scouts will be using their Motorola mobile phones to snap up-and-coming supermodels at the festival throughout the weekend, and will invite those they consider to have potential to their London headquarters for further interviews.
But you don’t have to wait until the festival to get spotted, simply log on to www.faceofv.com to submit your photo via MMS on your camera phone. The site will instruct you on the best way to take your photo together with top hints and tips for looking good this festival season from founder of Storm Models, Sarah Doukas.
Sarah Doukas comments: ‘Virgin Mobile’s V Festival definitely attracts the more beautiful festival-goer. We found a lot of new faces at last year’s V and are looking forward to discovering the Face of V this year.’
The Virgin Mobile V Festival is taking place over the weekend of August 19th and 20th at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. The festival sold out within three hours of going on sale, with festival-goers desperate to see the likes of Radiohead, Morrissey, Faithless, Beck, Kasabian and Razorlight to name but a few.
