Gethin Jones to open Swansea’s New Virgin Media store

Virgin Media has announced that TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones will be on hand to officially open Swansea’s new Virgin Media store at 11am on Friday 9 May.
After officially opening the store, Gethin will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Gethin is known to fans as the former Blue Peter presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant. During his time with Blue Peter, Gethin fought as a Samurai in Japan, escaped from a Navy submarine, flew with the Red Arrows, played a ‘Cyberman’ in Doctor Who and trained as a Shaolin monk. Taking on the challenge of professional dancing, Gethin competed in Strictly Com Dancing alongside various celebrities, actors and TV stars, eventually cha-cha-ing his way into the semi-final.
Commenting on the upcoming store opening, Gethin said “I’m really excited to be opening the new Virgin Media store in Swansea and meeting fans, I might even try to bag myself a new Virgin mobile!”
Local radio station The Wave will be on hand at the store with presenter XXX to help Gethin officially open the store.
